Since getting back into trampolining, I’ve found I actually feel younger! I am proud to never go to the gym now, as my involvement in gymnastics has helped me feel a lot fitter and more in touch with my body. I hope to pass on the same benefits to everyone I teach, and show them how much can be achieved when you put your mind to it.
Whether coaching gymnastics or trampoline, I like to ensure everyone enjoys themselves first and foremost. Sport should always be fun, and I constantly work with my coaches to try and achieve the best possible atmosphere for members, while aiming to achieve realistic goals in both coaching and developing the club.
The environment at the club is so much fun, it doesn’t even feel like work a lot of the time. I am especially proud of my adult trampoline class, which has constantly developed and always reached fantastic achievements and helped inspire other adults to take up more fun activities for fitness.
Coaching pre-school classes is always a lot of fun too, as the younger children bring so much enthusiasm and entertainment to my day. You can really see some surprising feats of strength in even 3 year olds. I look forward to predicting who might make it into our Elite squad from those classes in years to come.
